On 1 March 2024 Dr Jakub Stelmach and Marta Kowalczyk join the partnership of ZMW Legal. The firm is thereby strengthening its Tax Disputes practice and transactional advice.
Dr Jakub Stelmach – Tax Disputes
For 14 years Jakub has conducted disputes with the National Revenue Administration. He has represented taxpayers in more than 200 proceedings before the voivodeship administrative courts and the Supreme Administrative Court, as well as in cases before the Court of Justice of the EU. He holds a doctorate in law and has published on the liability of management board members for a company’s tax arrears.

For 11 years Marta has advised on M&A transactions, the restructuring of capital groups and shareholder disputes. She has supported investors in more than 40 transactions, including acquisitions of technology and Life Sciences companies.
